Description:
Up for sale is a beautiful refinished pre-64 16 Gauge Winchester Shotgun in excellent condition. The shotgun was made in 1940, has a modified choke, 2 3/4 chamber and a 28 inch barrel. The stock has been modified to a straight grip design with a repair to the inletting which can be seen in the photo. The blue on the barrel assembly is slightly less rich as it was rust blued. There are some marks on the bluing on the barrel. I do not have a bore scope but to the naked eye the bore looks good. Some marks to be expected on an 80 year old shotgun. The takedown assembly locks up as tight as a bank vault, and the action is perfectly in time. Please send me a message if you have any questions.
