The BRNO ZKW 65 22 Hornet...For me, the finest 22 Hornet sporting rifle ever produced when factoring style, grace, and quality of construction. These rifles are simply incredible and a joy to behold and use. S/N 16490 with matching component #s produced in 1949 and imported by Continental Arms Corporation of New York. This rifle is completely original and has never been altered, drilled on, refinished, etc. The condition is excellent showing 97% Blue and wood finish in the lower 90's% due to some light-moderate handling marks but no cracks or deep gouges. The mechanical function and bore condition are excellent. The chamber has never been reamed to K.
Special features of this unique rifle include beautiful stock lines and feel with a sculpted schnable foreend tip, 3 leaf express rear sight for 100,150, 200 yds., double set precision hair trigger, double square bridge receiver with integral dovetails for claw mounts, and original 5 shot magazine. A VERY difficult to find rifle in any condition and this one remains quite nice and ready to go to work!
