SPF Factory engraved Savage Model 99K Takedown in the desirable Winchester .30-30 caliber. Factory post front, two leaf rear and a Lyman Tang sight adorn the top of this fine rifle. Very nice Walnut front and rear stocks with sharp and crisp checkered pannels on both stocks. Pistol grip rear stock with cap. Sling swivel eyes front and rear. Case color finger lever. Brass shell counter on left side. Factory engrave panels on both sides of the receiver. Some engraving on top of the action and barrel. A very attractive rifle. CONDITION: Gun retains approximately 90% of the original factory applied blue finish. It has a few speckled spots on the lower part of the receiver. Vivid case color on the lever.. Nicely figured wood with sharp checkering. Bright and shiny bore with sharp lands and grooves. At some point in this guns life someone has put a red butt pad on it. I was going to change it out for a more modern pad but figured that the new owner might want the vintage pad left on it. Dont miss this chance to own a factory engraved Savage 99.
