Description:
An early Remington 700 ADL in the rare 222 Rem Magnum caliber. Buitl in 1965, this rifle is in excellent original condition. It retains 98% of the original blue and wood finishes. The 24" barrel has a mint bore. The stock retains the original aluminum buttplate. The rifle has a Leupold Vari-X III 3.5x10 scope installed. The rear sight blade has been removed so it will not block the scope. This caliber is very rare in the 700 line and was only offered for a short time. A great rifle for a collector and a great caliber for the handloader. C&R eligible. I will sell the rifle without the scope or as a complete package.
