Double oblong brass guard, brass escutcheon further secured with two large brass pins, and a rare carved eagle head style ebony handle. This is a mighty all-purpose model that derrives from Bagwell's usual line of combat cutlery as such can be used as a defensive weapon if needed as well. The blade is 1-5/8-inch in width from a 3/8-inch thick spine with a full distal taper all away to the tip. The knife is super sharp and should be handled with the utmost care. This is an exceptional model from this legendary bladesmith. Original leather scabbard. Mint condition. Shown in a French cutlery magazine from the 1990's. I do not engage in any type of trade. SOLD AS IS. BUyer pays shipping USPS tracking # and signaturer required. SOLD |
