Description:
For sale is a Colt 1851 Navy in .36 caliber, manufactured in 1867. The serial number is 194317. The barrel length is 7 1/2". Correct markings are all visible. Blueing turned dark patina throughout. Original wood grips show to be worn at the toes, likely from normal chafing on horseback. This Colt was acquired from a Utah family that earlier carried it on a wagon trek to Utah from the east circa 1868.
Also included is a "Slim Jim" holster in very good condition with a button and leather strap.
