#39087, FN Mauser 270 Winchester Custom Stocked FN Barreled Action by Jack Huffman from Greenville, North Carolina, Fabrique Nationale D'Armes De Guerre Herstal-Belgique; Belgium: A FN Mauser barreled action with Claw Extractor Made in Belgium prior to the Browning Bolt Rifles, This barreled action was made in 1951, 22" FN Chrome Vanadium Steel barrel, Clean barrel without open sights, A quality Jaeger adjustable trigger, 2 position Model 70 style wing safety, A 1909 Argentine Hinged floorplate with a center bow release, Talley bases with integral 1" rings, Leupold 6 power scope, A nice custom stock done in a Classic pattern by Jack Huffman, American black walnut stock with nice contrast, A shadowline cheekpiece, Rosewood forend tip, Checkered steel grip cap, 13 3/4" lop over a Niedner checkered steel buttplate, Point pattern checkering, Sling eyes on the stock, 7 lbs. 14 oz. with the Leupold 6X. Excellent inletting inside and out. The overall blue remains at 98%, The original stock finish is at 90%, The checkering is at 99%, The bore is excellent. This piece will shoot; It has a target with 3 shots into .342" at 100 yards using 130 grain factory Remington Core-Lokt ammo. Also, a .897" 3 shot group with factory Winchester Super-X 130 grain Power Point bullets.
