Description:
General Specs: Browning, Year 1960, .22LR, 4lb 13oz,  LOP 13 7/8"
Serial Number: T77419

Beautiful in an original Hartmann case, this John Browning designed Automatic Rifle is much sought after in this configuration. Manufactured in 1960, the rifle comes with the four step wheel type rear sight, which allows superfast range adjustments from 50 yards (position 1) to 75, 100 and 125 with a quick twist of the dial. Ejecting from the underside, this rifle is ideally suited to both left or right handed shooters. Weighing a svelte 4lb 13oz, holding 11 Long Rifle rounds and fitted with a full sized pistol grip and beavertail forend, this handy rifle fits adult and younger shooters equally well.

Serial numbered on the magazine loading port retaining plate, early type buttplate used up until 1960 and all correct barrel markings make this Grade 1 rifle in this condition a rare find. Externally displaying 99% original factory bluing with a mirror bore, the receiver top strap is factory grooved for dovetail scope mounts. The fine bluing and elegant Grade 1 engraving compliments the hand checkered French Walnut stock all finished with a hand rubbed and polished varnish. The rifle takes down without tools into two halves for easy transport & storage in its vintage Hartmann case. The case also allows room for a scope of your choice.

Vintage Firearms has in stock a period correct Browning 4X with integral quick detach mount and bright clear glass; all in very fine 99% condition, available for $400. Please call for details.

A fine addition to anyone's collection, young or old, the Browning Automatic Rifle will bring back fond recollections or create whole new ones, enjoy.
