Description:
A Factory Engraved Remington New Model Navy Revolver Factory Conversion To .38 Rimfire Breech Loading Cartridge In Fine Untouched Condition. Serial #43,277, all matching numbers. All original and complete. Made from 1873-1888. Some were factory made as cartridge and not converted from percussion. I believe this is one of them. The revolver has fine metal, markings and edges. It has fine factory engraving on the frame and a very clear barrel address. The entire revolver retains most of its original factory nickel on it with some light speckling in spots. The brass trigger guard is fine with a mellow color. The original grips are excellent and full throughout. The bore and action are both fine. This Is A Very Fine Example Of A Remington New Model Breech Loading Revolver That Most Likely Went Out West In The 1870's-1880's!
