This Japanese Type 94 8mm caliber pistol was made by the Nambu Rifle Manufacturing Company and is dated 6/43 (18.6). It has approx, 90% of its blue finish with parts turining brown and some light pitting toward the muzzle. The magazine is matching to the gun. The bore is fine with strong rifling and some frosting in the grooves. The checkered black plastic grips are excellent. The action functins correctly. The type 94 was made for Japanese officers. It has been called one of the worst designed military pistols due to the fact that it is inherently dangerous to operate. Every WWII pistol collection should have one.
