Scarce Nagoya arsenal Type 99 long rifle. Blued 31"" round in 7.7mm Japanese caliber with an excellent bore. Rifle has approximately 95% original blue. The stock is fine with original finish, no cracks or chips. This very early production rifle, serial no. 3178, has the strewed bolt stop spring, trigger, sight spring, and sight slide buttons. Visible serial numbers, except bolt, are matching. The bolt is numbered 781 which is an obvious factory error. The monopod and ant aircraft sight are correct. It has the correct cleaning rod. The mum is ground as it to be expected on G.I. brings backs. This is an all correct type 99 long rifle. Note: Do Not Shoot as headspace is out of tolerance.
