Selling my Ainsworth era Cavalry Colt chambered in 45 Colt. This gun is in excellent condition for it's age and its functions properly with 4 solid clicks, a tight lockup, and no cylinder shake. I've tried to highlight all of the martial markings in the photos below...please let me know if there's something else you would like to see. You can still just barely make out a cartouche in the wood grips. I ran out of photos but the bore is excellent. Message me if you would like a picture. Colt letters don't exist for guns this early and I don't have a Kopec letter on this gun.
While I don't have a Kopec letter, I should point out that apparently Kopec has done several letters on this gun over the years and he believes that the barrel was replaced at some point and is not original to this firearm. I believe that everything else is original and correct.
