Made in 1904, this rare "best" assisted-opener ejector gun has been sleeved and reproofed as such in the UK to 2 1/2"x28" barrels choked 1/4 (ic) and 1/2 (modified). Highly figured stock 14 1/2" lop through a checkered butt, cast off (RH) 3/8", gold oval w initials matching case. Highly engraved action is finished bright with clean breech faces and third fastener. It's difficult to make a round action box lock gun and Dickson was the master and originator of the round action design. Weight 6 1/2lb. A highly pedigreed vintage gun you can shoot with modern shells and not worry about the barrels, as they are modern NP steel.
