Description:
Extremely rare caliber and configuration! One of only two known to me in 358 Win. caliber standard weight Super Grade. SN 368*** with matching scribed bolt made in 1956. 98% original Blue throughout with 97% Wood showing some light handling marks. Bore and mechanics are excellent.
24" standard weight barrel. All correct SG features for this era are present including deluxe stock, rust blued barrel, properly stamped floor plate, understamped barrel, 254 height Redfield gold bead front sight, robust detachable swivels, etc.
Very few 358 Win. rifles were ever produced (only 2,000) and many were recalled due to a chambering issue. Of those, nearly all were Featherweights with only a handful of standard weights thrown in. Standard weight Super Grades are practically nonexistent. Shipping from Alaska is $75 via Priority Mail with full insurance in a custom cut foam lined box for maximum protection.
