This large bore 5-shot SA/DA revolver was designed as a hunting and dangerous game defense gun for areas like Africa and Alaska in a joint effort between Smith & Wesson, Hornady and Cor-Bon. Dual chambering allows the 460 to accept .454 Casull and .45 Colt cartridges in addition to 460 S&W Mag.
