The body and barrel are of solid brass with clear proofs and markings on both sides of the frame, all edges are crisp and the pistol does not appear to have been cleaned at any point, the action functions well and the flat spring for the locking retention is strong, bore is clean. The lanyard ring and eye are present and the grips are in good condition with original finish nd no cracks or evidence of ever having been removed. This model is sometimes referred to as a "Very" pistol. 0955011 AHS $450.00 Additional Information: One of the people interested in this flare pistol has said that the flared cap on the end is missing from this particular flare gun. I am not able to find a verifiable answer in printed form and am not a knowledgeable person on these. I see these listed in both forms out on the web.
