Description:
SOLD PENDING RECEIPT OF FUNDS FROM ROBERT. Thanks Robert! Fox A Grade Philadelphia made 12 Gauge. Barrels are Chromox Steel 30", 2 Weight, and choked Light Mod / Full with 2 3/4" chambers. Top lever well right of center. Finish on all metal surfaces appears original. Just look at the lettering. Lots of Case Color remaining. The stock is superb, with no cracks or chips. Great dimensions! : 15" length of pull from front trigger to a New Leather covered Pachmayr Decelerator recoil pad. Drop at Comb is 1 7/16" and Drop at heel is 2 1/2". Those dimensions are NOT common with original wood on these early Foxes (or any American double for that matter). Gun weighs 7lbs 8 oz and balances wonderfully. Extractors of course, not ejectors, which I actually like in the field. Superb pheasant gun. Just try to find an early A grade Fox with the above characteristics. Thanks for your interest.
