Remington/UMC – 2 P/C .30-06 Armor Piercing Cartridge Box – The box has a callout for “For Colt Aircraft and Anti-Aircraft Machine Guns”.
The box was never factory sealed so that operators could refill clips quicker.
The (20) original black-tip cartridges are headstamped, “Rem-UMC .30-06”.
For the military and Colt collectors, this is a seldom seen box since the boxes were destroyed after the cartridges were loaded.
The box has no seam splits or repairs but shows 2 old light stains on front bottom.
The cartridges are in very good(++) condition. Refer to Photos.
