Superposed retains 98 plus percent factory finishes, with finish loss present on underside of barrel from takedown and assembly. Minimal light abrasions present in stock finish. This gem features a black Browning buttplate, smooth, walnut stock and forend with an immaculate glossed finish, checkering at the pistol grip and forend, scrollwork to the breech release lever and receiver, and a gold trigger. Chambered for 20-gauge shells, this Superposed Lightening Edition also bears marking to the right-side of the barrel reading “Special Steel – 20 GA – Shells 2 ¾” and 3” – Patents No 2.203.378 – 2.233.861”, and markings to the left-side which displays Browning’s St. Louis address followed by “Made in Belgium”.
