offering a beautiful Savage 99 , sn, 319320, Mfg’d in 1929 , I believe it's a late G model with the factory Checkering, capped pistol grip, metal shot gun butt, 22" medium takedown barrel with front ramp front sight all offered around this time according to David Royals book on this famed rifle. This one retains most of the factory blue and case coloring on lever , a couple marks on the factory finish but a really nice rifle with a perfect bore. Now the good part , she's wearing a J. 2.5 Weaver 3/4" El Paso Mfg'd scope with the post cross hair from that same era mounted on hard to come by Stith scope mount no extra holes on this gal ! Take down model but truthfully I've never taken it apart , no reason to doubt the number wouldn't match.. Not a safe Queen , had it in the woods this past November. Very accurate little rifle. I've read only 7500 were produced in 1929 , things were slow in our country, people were actually looking for work . Imagine that !
