Description:
.On HoldThis is a fairly good example of a Austrian M1849 Percussion Jaeger Musket sometimes called a Garibaldi Rifle.  Many were imported by the Confederacy prior to the Civil war.  The functioning lock is dated 853,  I believe the gun to be complete and original. The wood is in good condition. The trigger gaurd and but plate are brass.  The barrel and lock are brown with pitting and what looks like some remnants of old gold paint.  Rifled bore appears to be approximately 70 caliber.  Please feel free to contact me with any questions.  Shipping will be actual cost by insured usps priority mail.
