Outstanding Pre War Target rifle in this exceedingly difficult to find 257 Roberts caliber! S/N 56203 with matching scribed bolt assembled during the early post war restart period of 1946, but of 100% Pre War components.
98% Blue, 97% Varnish with a few scattered handling marks on the wood. 24" heavy barrel with muzzle face in the white. Excellent Bore. Undrilled rear receiver bridge! Factory scope blocks. The mechanical functions and trigger pull are so incredibly smooth on this rifle, even for a Pre war, indicating that they did indeed receive a bit of special treatment at the factory. It is highly unlikely that you will see another as good without a very long wait!
