Serial #01552PR6R7, .348 Winchester, 24 inch barrel with a bright, excellent bore. This is the limited edition High Grade Browning Model 71 manufactured in Japan featuring deluxe checkered, high polish walnut stocks, scroll engraved grey receiver with gold inlay and trigger. They were manufactured from 1986-87 with only 3000 produced and are a reproduction of the Winchester model 71. It has a 4 shot magazine and is sighted with semi-buckhorn rear and hooded post front sights. The gun is a true “Safe Queen" with any blemishes seen associated with taking it in and out of the safe. The metal surfaces are excellent 99% plus with virtually all of the original finish and only faint handling marks. The checkered high gloss walnut stocks are likewise excellent with scattered mild blemishes. It comes in the original cardboard Browning box numbered to the gun. An outstanding example of this limited, high grade rifle. FFL
