Excellent size 7 1/8 Deep Brown / Black Beauty Original Stetson Beaver Cavalry Hat with Original Gold Bullion hat cord and Cavalry Emblem. Part of the famous Bill Bentham collection. Markings and tags pictured. Super High Quality, and the Legendary Stetson Craftsmanship is in every detail of this Magnificent piece. Difficult to date as all company records were destroyed but there hasn't been a military campaign hat of this style since 1875 and that version was dark blue before changing to tan in 1876, however this style of hat was also made up till the 1950's. Check it out go into Detective mode and have fun researching this beauty. We have priced it to sell so you can own and display the most famous hat name on the Planet.
