This Winchester M70 Featherweight cal .243 , pre 64, was mfg abt 1958. It has abt 98% Bluing w/no edge or floorplate wear. The stock
is a original semi-gloss medium reddish Walnut w/some very light handling mars. The forearm is nice w/a very light bench mark on the
bottom, about 85-90% overal. The checkering is excellent on both the grip and forearm areas. (No marring) The action is smooth and
shows very little usuage. The bolt is highly polished including handle - (This was limited to only a few years of production).
This M70 Featherweight is to me an excellent choice for both being a collectible and shooter. I would also rate it as an NRA Very Good.
