We offer you a “RARE” Wilhelm Collath Engraved Underlever Cape Gun 12 Gauge by 11mm from the 1900’s.

This Wilhelm Collath Cape gun wears 27 5/8” barrels with both bores being bright and in excellent condition with no issues. The left barrel is a 12 gauge with a short chamber and a full choke measuring .685. The right barrel is a slightly bottle necked 11mm caliber. They are fluid steel barrels with a very fine bluing with the shotgun barrel having a slight indentation as shown. It has a full rib with two folding rear leafs as you can see. The muzzle and chamber areas have two gold lines with the retailer’s name of W. JUNG from CREUZNACH (Germany) also in gold. The coin colored receiver is fully engraved as is the forearm tip as shown. The lever and trigger guard are carved horn that are in very fine condition. These use a unique mechanism for loading and unloading. The lever is pushed to the side which moves the barrel forward. Once the lever rotates to the end of the movement the barrels are open all the way forward and then tilt down for loading while operating the extractors. We have shown this operation in the pictures. The rear of the receiver has the Collath “wing safety”. The trigger for the rifle barrel is adjustable and also is a “set” trigger if wanted. The stocks show wear and marks from 100 years of use and storage. There are no cracks that could be found. The L.O.P. is 13 7/8” over a “FN” replacement butt plate. This Cape gun is a rare one to find especially with the horn material and bores being in this condition.

This will be shipped fully insured UPS Ground to your FFL for $70. It will be shipped in a foam lined double walled cardboard box that we have manufactured for us so that your gun arrives safe.

Payment to be made by USPS Money Order or Cashier’s Check.
All firearms come with a 3-day inspection from D2D’s.
