"Stokes Kirk Colt 1851 Navy .36 caliber revolver. Made late 1850s. .36 Caliber with a 7 ½" barrel. This is a U.S. marked Navy that was sold to the surplus dealer W. Stokes Kirk Company who was a surplus dealer and purchased a group of U.S. marked Colt 1851 Navy’s. They then refurbished these guns and renumbered them in either single or double-digit serial numbers. Gun is in excellent condition. Action works well and locks up tight.
