RODGERS AND SPENCER CIVIL WAR REVOLVER. Serial no. 605. Delivered to government on Feb. 22, 1865. This was before the end of the war. Revolver is unfired. Mechanically perfect. Revolver has 99+% of it's original high luster blue on all parts except cylinder which has a few spots of flaking as seen in pics. My camera didin't capture the true royal navy blue in all the pics. In person , this revolver is stunning. Has all the casecolors it ever had on hammer and lever. All screws are perfect. Bore is perfect. Still all the blue in chambers. Grips are as perfect as you'll ever see on a Rodgers and Spencer. All numbers match. It has dried grease or oil on various parts as seen in pics.
