This super rare TRAP SHOOTING MEDAL WATCH FOB, was produced in the early 1900's for the READING RAILROAD sponsor, Trap shooting competition. .Few of these medals are not collected or in museums ,this medal the number 29 ,which would be 29 out of 30 , this medal is 10 caret gold, on a brass chain, you can see one similar on Charles Albert '' CHIEF '' Bender , the one in the baseball hall of fame, many of the players competed in Trap shooting in their off time and supplemented their income. This was bought in PENNSYLVANIA, where Bender competed and was sponsored by the railroads company , not to say this is his medal , but there is a chance.I have done research and Pennsylvania was one of the top three states in the nation at this time in trap shooting. The back has KL.MEL MEDAL CO. 303 4TH AVE. N.Y.C. X GOLD. The blue enamel around the edge is perfect.859-533-5445
