This Walter PP 7.65 (.32 Cal) Pre War w/Nazi proofs, mfg abt 1936 for both Police and military. it is abt
a 90-95% original condition w/some very slight edge wear at the muzzle and lower frame (See Pics). The
bluing is the very rich Walter shade of bluing that only they seem to have achieved. This was mfg long before the
constraints of the pressures of WW II affected their wartime Budgets due to both lack of good materials and
bugets.The action is suberb. I took this one to the range mtself and fired about 25 rounds through it w/o
a malfunction. Accuracy was very good.
It has the correct extension finger magizine to fit almost any size hand. This particular PP has had excellent
care and maintainence throughout this period (1936 to Present). This suggests to me a single type ownership or
a ardent collector.
It has the correct Nazi proofs on both the bolt and exterior chamber frame area (See Pics). The bore is mint
w/very excellent rifiling.
I would rate this PP as an NRA very Good to Excellent for a 1936 period firearm.
