Payment Types Accepted: Money Oder Description: Listing a old favorite of mine that I acquired a good number of years ago from the Pacific N.West. Winchester 1886 octagon barreled rifle in the big dog 45/90 caliber.sports a 26" standard barrel and I believe original open rear sights. As pictures show she has aged gracefully during her 131 year life. I've shot it a good number of times and whacked several Buffalo with her as well, we've raised them for our freezer for over twenty years. So I can say she's a genuine Buffalo rifle . Bores a little dark but has decent rifling and will spin a bullet just fine. I've not lettered this rifle but ran into the owner of a possible litter mate to this old gal that linked his to the Johnson County Range War up in Wyoming in mid 1890's, his is one number off of sn 58013. Claims his was confiscated by Federal Troops when they were called into retain law and order. Who knows they all have some stories I'm sure. I ship only to a FFL or your C&R even if it's an antique, Post Office rules. I accept postal money orders or a cashiers check and ship priority insured with a tracking number. any questions please call or text 920-590-3400 have a fine day SOLD Antique: Yes Rifle Caliber: .45-90 Winchester Manufacturer: Winchester Model: 1886 Serial Number: 58013 Condition: Aged Metal Condition: Aged Wood Condition: Original Bore Condition: Fine Barrels: octagon Barrel Type: octagon Action: lever Triggers: single Stock: rifle type Butt Pad: Crescent Sights: open rear Manufacture Date: 1891 |
