Description:
THE STORY: A Cherokee Indian gentleman approaches a family outside of a store in Gatlinburg Tennessee (GREAT SMOKIE MOUNTAINS) and sells a decorated rifle to the father for $60 to buy groceries for his family. The rifle was brought back to Knoxville Tennessee.

The Marlin Model 25, .22 rifle sold new for $49.99 in the early 80's. Selling it for a $10 profit was probably a big thing back then.

This 40 year old rifle (manufactured in 1982) is in great shape as shown by the photos. These rifles have always been known to shoot straight and be extremely reliable. This one also comes with a great story.

This rifle is an excellent example of CHEROKEE/GREAT SMOKEY MOUNTAIN ART.
