Description:
Native American Indian Inuit carved pair of walrus ivory polar bears. Originated from the  Athabaskan Islands in the 1920s. One bear is standing on its hind legs and the other is on all fours. They both have their mouths open in a snarl or roar, and their faces feature finely painted details. The latter has an age crack on lower throat and one foot, not distracting. Great collectable ivory set that would compliment any collection.
