Springfield M1 Garand made in late 1942, fitted with a 6-43 dated Springfield barrel, D28298-14-SA trigger group, and a D28287-1 W.R.A. (Winchester) bolt. The rifle is fitted with a nice looking stock with matching rear and front handguards. The bore is bright with a throat erosion of "4" , a muzzle erosion of "2" (a 10 or more is usually when barrels were replaced in the field), and sharp rifling. The sights are crisp and the action functions perfectly. A nice example of a WWII USA battle rifle. CURIO & RELIC.
