Two hard to find Colonial ale warmers, one copper and one tin. Ale warmers were used in taverns or by the home fireplace hearth to hold and warm ale, wine or beer. The copper warmer is of dovetailed construction with a riveted handle. The tin ale warmer has a seamed construction with a riveted handle. Great historical and collectible set that would compliment a hearth or fireplace or fill an empty space on a wall. Size: Copper 4" D x 12"L Tin 3/12"D x 10 1/2"L
