Description:
Original 24 inch full round barrel chambered in the desirable 44 WCF caliber with a full length magazine tube. Original sights include a German silver blade front and a typical sporting rear. A very good bore which would make this gun a good shooter. Original wood in very good condition with a light coat of varnish having been added its not sanded or undersized with a rifle style butt plate. Mechanical condition is good. Overall metal retains most all of what appears to be an old re blue which is on the gun. This is the hard to find CAL 44-40. Would make a good Cowboy Action shooter.
