Angelo Bee Signed, Master Engraved and Gold Inlaid Belgian Browning Superposed Superlight 20 Midas Upgrade 20 Gauge Shotgun
Manufactured in 1983 and subsequently upgraded to its current Midas Grade configuration by renowned Master Engraver Angelo Bee. Single white bead sight on the matted vent rib barrels with chokes marked "**-" and "**". Single gold washed trigger, tang mounted safety/selector switch, and gold plated pins in the receiver. The receiver has been masterfully engraved with floral scroll designs on a punch dot background surrounding a trio of gold inlaid pheasants bordered in gold on the left side of the receiver, a gold bordered trio of mallards on the right, and a single gold quail on the underside. The barrels show matching wedges of engraving at the breech and the trigger guard and tangs are also engraved to match. Angelo Bee's signature, "ABEE", is signed on both the left and the right side of the receiver above the front of the trigger guard. Acid etched "1984" is faintly visible beneath the engraving on the left side of the receiver. Beautifully figured, multi-point checkered forend with straight grip stock and black Browning buttplate. Barrel and stock measurements (U/O): chambers marked 2 3/4 inches; bores 9 inches from the breech .623/.621 inches; choke constriction .007/.014 inches; minimum wall thickness .025/.026 inches; 1 5/16 inch drop at comb; 2 1/8 inch drop at heel; 14 5/16 inch length of pull; weight 5lbs 11oz.
Class: Modern Long Gun
Excellent as embellished by Master Engraver Angelo Bee, retaining 99% blue and gold finishes with minor handling evidence. The forend is fine with cracks forming on either side and sharp checkering. The stock is excellent with sharp checkering. Mechanically excellent.
