Description:
Colt Model 1911 Military Semi-Auto  Pistol in .45ACP. SN #136021. Mfg. in 1916. ALL CORRECT. 5" Barrel with an EXCELLENT Bright Bore. The Blued Metal is in VERY GOOD condition for it's age with some light edge wear on the slide. The Walnut Grips are correct for the gun and are unmarked and in VERY GOOD condition. Original barrel  is marked with a "P" and "H" seen in the ejection port. The "P" is the proof mark while the"H" is the Provisional Inspection Mark for Francis L. Hosmer, who inspected guns from SN 133187-137400. Slide is marked above firing pin "S" for W.E. Strong (Temporary Inspector). Inspector Mark by magazine release of G.H.S in a circle for Army Inspector of Ordnance Major Gilbert H. Stewart. Correct magazine for era. Only 4200 produced in 1916. Weight: 2.41 lbs.
