Savage - Model 99 - .303 Sav cal. - Stk #C266
This .303 Sav Savage Model 99 rifle has a shortened 19-1/2” with no finish tapered round barrel with filing marks. The bore is in good condition. The front sight dovetail slot was removed when the barrel was shortened. The barrel is dovetailed for a rear sight. The action is smooth and locks up tight and the blued finish is worn, along with the receiver. The Walnut forend and buttstock with a black plastic butt plate are in good condition but do have some usage dents, scratches, and a small stain on the left side of the tang. The pistol grip cap was removed and the screw hole filled in. The rifle comes with a Mossberg 4X32 scope. Length of pull is 14-1/2”, overall length is 40-3/4”, and weight is 8.8 lbs.
