Description:
Remington Model 1911A1 with Type 3 slide marking, Excellent Condition, MFG 1945 having all original parts, finish and grips with very rare leather Perkins Campbell 1917 RJM marked holster. The 1945 Remington Rand 1911A1 Pistol quality was considered second to none
- HS marked barrel. HS is the marking of High Standard.
- Crossed cannons partial ordnance mark on the right rear of the frame, to the right of the hammer pin.
- FJA inspector markings on left of frame near trigger. FJA are the initials of Frank J. Atwood, WWII inspector of ordnance.
- The "P" proof mark is located near the magazine release and on top of the slide, in front of the rear sight.
Holster is original era manufacture, A very clean example with few blemishes, black leather color with good makers markings and dates on the reverse.The holster is not crushed or oiled, and is quite sound overall.
