Colt Government Model (Custom Shop)
Here we have a Colt Government Model that was commissioned in the Colt Custom Shop via an executive inside channel.
This fine pistol features:
Novak wide notch rear sight with a Gold bead front sight.
Fitted Briley Match Barrel and spherical bushing.
Smith & Alexander beavertail grip safety blended to frame.
The slide and grip panel screws were engraved by Colt Master Engraver Steve Kamyk in a classic style.
Slide and Frame received a Python style polish and Colt’s Royal Blue finish.
Grip are smooth Elephant Ivory.
All other parts are factory select Colt parts.
All machine work, fitting and final assembly was preformed at Colt by Custom Shop Gunsmith Rich Stoddard.
This was the Colt executives “Barbecue Gun” thus shows some light wear on the barrel hood.
Gun will come with notarised letter from former Colt executive from (2008-2014) stating said work preformed.
