Description:
***SOLD*** Winchester Model 12 12ga pump action shotgun, dated to 1933. This shotgun features a sleek profile with a sturdy and balanced handling, with the smooth walnut stock and grooved forend to match. The receiver and barrel are finished and a fine blue, with an matching steel trigger guard, and interrupted thread takedown mechanism that involves twisting the magazine tube out of place and sliding it up the barrel along with the forend, allowing the barrel assembly to twist off the receiver. The shotgun is in excellent condition for its age, and for being 87 years old, it appears to have seen mild use since its manufacture, and has been very well cared for over the years. There is some speckling and evidence of old surface rust in areas, as shown, and some finish loss, however the wood is in great shape, the bore is shiny and smooth, and the action is tight and solid. And yes, it will slam-fire when desired! Please refer to the photos to further assess the condition of the shotgun prior to purchase. 14" LOP, IC choke (the barrel is marked Mod, however out gauges measure IC).
