Description:
A CVA /Jukar flintlock pistol of .45 cal. with a serial #099311, .45 cal, 9 7/8” octagon barrel with a clean, shiny bore showing strong rifling. The barrel shows remnants of original plum-brown finish, but mostly in the white as cleaned the lockplate is showing mottled case-hardened colors. The brass hardware is toning to ocher patina and the frizzen face has been re-surfaced. The smooth hardwood stock remains in very good plus condition showing some scattered light handling marks and some areas a little shy of the hardware. The pistol is sighted with a square-notch rear leaf sight and tall thin brass blade, a ramrod is present and the lock is functional, and srtomng. The flint gives a strong sower of sparks..When buying a gun always have it examined by a competent gunsmith before shooting.
