Description:
This is an excellent example of a DRP-marked Mauser K98, manufactured in 1933. This gun was ordered for and issued to the "Deutches Reich Post" or German Postal Service during the Weimar period of German history. This one was made the year Hitler came to power in Germany. This one is all matching and has a very clear "DRP" stamp on the stock. It is excellent retaining virtually all of its finish - just some minor pin-pricking throughout. The stock is excellent - minor dings and bruises. It comes with a rare sight cover and cleaning rod. It also comes with a very nice reproduction sling. The bore is excellent - shiny with strong rifling.
