We offer you a “First Year Production” “JM” Marked Marlin Model 375 Lever Action Chambered in .375 Winchester made in 1980.
This Marlin model 375 lever action Carbine is chambered in .375 Winchester caliber. This model was only manufacture for a few years before Marlin discontinued it. The serial number on the Carbine is 20065067 which tells us it was made in 1980. This was the first year of production of the model 375. The Carbine is in excellent condition as you can see in the pictures. It wears a 20 inch barrel that has an excellent bore with no issues. The bluing on the barrel, magazine tube and receiver show a few use marks as shown. The stocks are in very fine condition and show scuffs and dings from use. The left side of the barrel is marked “MODEL 375” and “The Marlin Firearms Co. ----CAL. 375 WIN. / MADE IN NORTH HAVEN, CT. U.S.A. MICRO-GROOVE BARREL”. The left side of the barrel at the receiver is marked with a circled “JM” proof. The upper tang is marked with the serial number “20065067”. The white in the markings is grease pencil and can be removed with a rag, some oil and elbow grease.
