Description:
SOLD A super tight.45 Cal, 29” octagon barrel with a bright, very good slightly frosted bore. This fine rifle remains in near excellent condition with the barrel retaining 96% blue with a few scattered spots of oxidization. The brass triggerguard, buttplate, nosecap, patch box, ramrod thimbles and wedge escutcheons have toned to a pleasant ochre patina with some slight discoloration, the lock retaining all the original case-hardening. The walnut stock is nicely finished with a few handling marks, a left side cheekpiece and some subtle vertical grain figure. The rifle features a synthetic ramrod,with a brass tip, functioning dual set triggers and the original factory sights. Srock is a had rubber finish, not high gloss..A very nice rare .45 Hawken. When buying a gun always have it examined by a competent gunsmith before shooting. To buy a gun from me you must get a direct email for me, with details, and shipping cost.
