Description:
This is for my Smith & Wesson Model 1891 Single Shot 22 LR pistol . It has a 4-digit serial number 35XX indicating manufacture around 1905. It has an 8 inch barrel and good bore. The gun exhibits about 25% bright original blue in protected areas with the rest turned a grey/brown. The action works great and it is fun to shoot. It is all original except someone filed the "hump" off rear of the hard rubber grips. I bought this pistol because it is exactly like one my neighbor taught me to shoot when I was very young about 60+ years ago. Now, I find it mostly lying in the safe and not getting much use, so it needs a new home. I have 23 photos, but am limited to 15 here. Email me if you want to see the rest of the photos.
