Description:
Classic Ruger No.1 rifle in the classic .300 H&H cartridge. Very nice wood with good figure. Serial number is 134-844xx. Has a Pachmayr Decelerator red pad, and the stock was not altered in it's installation (i.e. the wood was not cut or altered). This pad is of course softer, and compresses under recoil vs the factory hard rubber pad which does not compress. Length of pull is a bit less than 14 1/4" and the pad is of course soft. If you want to go back to the thin Ruger pad, Length of Pull would go to the factory LOP which is approximately 13 5/8". 26" barrel, correct factory sights and sling swivels. Very nice figure in wood. The lightest of handling marks only. I shoot the .300 H&H quite a bit and love it. Ammunition is readily available, and the long tapered cartridge is simply perfect in a single shot. Shipping is $50. packed properly and shipped via FedEx ground to your FFL.
