W.W. Greener 8 Gauge Shotgun #30540. What a massive and impressive gun to hold. Well proportioned to it's smaller bore counterparts. 35.5" Damascus Barrels marked... Patent Treble Wedge Fast No. 3084. W.W. Greener 68 Haymarket London, Winner at the London Gun Trials 1875 1877 1879 (Made for T J Hayward) Bores are bright and shiny and ring when struck. Min. wall thickness on Left is .054 and Right is .053. Damascus patern is quite visible with some wear in natural areas. Stock dimensions are 14.75 LOP 1.75 drop at comb. 2.25 drop at heel. Neutral cast. Old replacement red pad is still in place. Action works smoothly and saftey switch as well. Double triggers and non-ejectors. Triggers drop hammers smoothly with crisp action. Checkering is worn some but full pattern is visble. Horn tipped forend with checkered finger hole.
