SALE PENDING! FINAL PRICE REDUCTION AND FREE SHIPPING TO CONUS. Here is a like new Zastava Safari rifle made in Yugoslavia that is constructed entirely of steel and wood as a Safari rifle should! It sports a Mauser 98 style controlled feed action with a deeply blued 24 inch barrel that has a three leaf rear sight and a banded and hooded front sight containing both a brass bead and flip up ivory bead for lower light conditions. Bottom metal is one piece steel that matches the deep polished bluing of the barrel. Case colored bolt handle adds a bit of class! Magazine holds three cartridges.The stock is very nicely figured with deep mineral streaks. LOP is 14 inches to the front trigger as a new Pachmyr one inch Decelerator pad was just installed by Griffin & Howe (see two last pictures) Initial recoil pad LOP was close to 15 inches which is why I had the stock shortened. Sharp checkering on grip and forearm. The barrel channel and recoil lug areas have been professionally bedded (see pics). This rifle also has double set triggers which, once set, breaks like a glass shard at around 4 oz. It weighs just over 10 pounds on my bathroom scale with the pictured 1-4 power Vortex Crossfire II illuminated scope. The scope is mounted in a set of Leupold QR detachable mounts in case iron sights need to be employed. This rifle has been sighted in at 50 and 100 yards with sub MOA accuracy at both. Check out the target pictures! . Excellent balance and pointing. Just an all around excellent Safari rifle to hit the bush! I bought it planning to take to Africa with my friend who is no longer mobile. .Must ship to a valid FFL. I will include a copy of my DL with the rifle. Make sure your FFL will accept from an individual. Bipod is not included with the rifle
